New York City mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani won’t be participating in an upcoming town hall, and it all has to do with ABC suspending Jimmy Kimmel ‘s show.
The 33-year-old NYC mayoral hopeful was set to appear in a town hall on Thursday (September 25) that is scheduled to air on NYC’s local ABC station, WABC News . However, he’s backing out because of the decision to silence Jimmy Kimmel .
“ABC pulled Jimmy Kimmel off the air after the FCC sought to pressure them,” he said during a news conference, via amNY .
“The message that it sends to each and every American across this country is a message the First Amendment is no longer a right that can be counted on, but rather that it is government which will determine what should and should not be discussed, what can a
