New Orleans Mayor LaToya Cantrell has withdrawn her request to travel abroad for a family vacation, as she faces federal charges and is prohibited from traveling.

Her attorneys are now withdrawing the request, which means the judge does not need to rule.

Paperwork was filed Tuesday afternoon, and a judge was expected to grant the request.

Following court-ordered travel restrictions after the New Orleans mayor was indicted and arraigned, she made a formal request to travel outside of the country.

The request came just one week after the court demanded she limit her travel to Louisiana and surrender her passport.

Her trip was planned for Oct. 7 to Oct. 13.
