Nick Robertson was among the Maple Leafs who made a positive impact on Sunday afternoon in Toronto’s pre-season victory in Ottawa against the Senators. Article content Article content

Not only did Robertson score, his usual hustle was evident and, overall, he stood out. He didn’t leave Leafs coach Craig Berube wanting to have seen much more.

With the Leafs enjoying their first full day off on Monday since training camp started last week, for now we can only presume Maccelli will be in the lineup on Tuesday night when the Leafs and Senators hook up at Scotiabank Arena. It’s a safe assumption considering that the majority of Leafs veterans didn’t make the trip to the nation’s capital.
