A 36-year-old man in Ohio has been arrested for allegedly killing a 22-year-old landscape worker, fatally shooting the victim in the heart following an argument over grass clippings getting on his car. Travis Daniel Jackson was taken into custody last week and charged with one count of murder , two counts of felonious assault, and one count of discharging a firearm on or near prohibited premises in the slaying of Tanner Staggs, records show.

Officers with the Dayton Police Department at about 11:15 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 18, responded to a home in the 100 block of Indiana Avenue regarding an adult male being shot, the Dayton Daily News reported .

Upon arriving, first responders located the victim — later identified as Staggs — suffering from what appeared to be multiple gunshot wounds.
