On the heels of Boston’s success in luring Lego, and then Hasbro, to move their headquarters to Boston, Mayor Michelle Wu credited the city's livability, rather than tax cuts, as making it competitive for business .
“Everyone in this room knows that Boston is never going to be the place that people come to because it's the cheapest to do business,” Wu said at a Boston Chamber of Commerce event Monday. “Competitiveness in this economy and in this moment means working together to nurture, recruit, and promote top talent — building up the community and workforce that any company would consider relocating to join.”
