CHARLESTON COUNTY, S.C. (WCBD) – James Gosnell Jr., the suspended Charleston County magistrate judge accused of having child sexual abuse material, is due back in a federal courtroom Monday afternoon.
Gosnell Jr., 68, was arrested on the morning of Sept. 16 after a Homeland Security investigation linked an account known to be associated with Gosnell to a site in the United Kingdom that was distributing child sexual abuse material, according to the U.S. Department of Justice.
According to the report, Gosnell cooperated with officials and even allegedly directed them to a flash drive that contained numerous images of children engaged in sexually explicit conduct.
