CASS COUNTY, Ind. -- Deputies responded to a two-vehicle crash in Cass County Sunday evening that left three people dead and one injured.

On Sept. 21, deputies with the Cass County Sheriff's Office responded around 5:53 p.m. to the area of State Road 29 and County Road 400 South after the Cass County Dispatch reported receiving multiple calls describing a serious "rollover" crash.

CCSO said preliminary information indicates a 2015 Nissan Sentra was heading westbound on County Road 400 South before it crossed over onto State Road 29. It was at that moment that deputies believe the Nissan crossed into the path of a 2020 GMC Sierra pickup truck as it was traveling southbound.
