Twenty One Pilots made a grand debut atop the album charts this week, with the group’s new record “Breach” bowing at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 .
“Breach,” which is the band’s second chart-topper, earned 200,000 equivalent album units in the United States, with 169,000 in traditional album sales, in part due to its availability in 15 vinyl variants. This marks Twenty One Pilots ‘ biggest week ever and the largest for a rock album since Tool’s “Fear Inoculum” in 2019.
Elsewhere, Ed Sheeran earns his eighth top 10 album with “Play,” which bows at No. 5. The “KPop Demon Hunters” soundtrack dips from No. 1 to 2, while Morgan Wallen’s “I’m the Problem” sits tight at No. 3 and Sabrina Carpenter’s “Man’s Best Friend” drops to No. 4. Coming in slots six through 10 are Justin Bieber’s “Swag,
