The San Francisco 49ers have managed to stay undefeated despite a slew of injuries through the opening month of the season, but this latest one is severe and could very well change the trajectory of the NFC West race.
For the second time in his career, star pass rusher Nick Bosa has been ruled out for the season after tearing his ACL. He suffered a left ACL tear against the New York Jets in Week 2 of 2020, and now he’s torn his right ACL after it buckled in Sunday’s win against the Arizona Cardinals.
This news comes from the same game in which Cardinals running back James Conner suffered a season-ending ankle injury.
