PHOENIX (AZFamily/Gray News) — As the federal government prepares to make the link between a popular pain reliever and autism, a Valley doctor is pushing back with data.

An announcement on Monday is expected to link the development of autism in children with the use of Tylenol, or acetaminophen, during pregnancy , along with a folate deficiency. Pregnant women often take the vitamin to help their baby’s brain and spine develop.
