Federal immigration enforcement officers detained two people in University Park on Saturday, village police said.
University Park police said in a news release officers were alerted of Immigration and Customs Enforcement activity and made contact with ICE officers “to ascertain their intentions.”
“Two subjects had been taken into custody without incident. The ICE agents then left the area without incident,” police said.
