A pair of top high school girls basketball players in the St. Louis metro area have given their college commitments to schools in the state of Missouri.
Forward Nevaeh Lucious of national power Incarnate Word Academy gave a commitment to Missouri State University. Evelyn Shane, a standout forward from Ursuline Academy, gave a commitment to Saint Louis University.
Lucious is a 6’3” senior forward who is one of the top prospects in the state of Missouri. She is currently rated No. 4 in the Class of 2026 from the basketball website Prep Girls Hoops Missouri.
Lucious moved to St. Louis before last season after playing her first two years at Cape Girardeau Notre Dame in Southeast Missouri. She became a force in the paint at both ends of the floor in helping Incarnate Word to the Class 6 stat
