NORRISTOWN — Questions over Norristown Municipal Councilman Dustin Queenan’s residency were front and center, as a motion to set a public hearing failed to reach the floor during a council meeting last week.
Municipal Hall council chambers was filled with area residents for the Sept. 16 work session that was to include a public hearing initially proposed as an agenda item stemming from a complaint “regarding Councilman Queenan’s qualifications to serve.”
The matter originated from a Sept. 3 letter written by Norristown resident Mary Ellen DiGregorio. It was sent to Norristown Municipal Council President Rebecca Smith, with Municipal Administrator Leonard Lightner and Montgomery County District Attorney Kevin Steele also copied.
