GAINESVILLE, Fla. (WCJB) - Employees with the gainesville police department and 3-D Mobile Mammography are teaming up to help save the lives of women through early breast cancer detection.

Their Breast Cancer Awareness Kick-Off includes the 3-D Mobile Mammography bus, a portable lab capable of taking mammograms and deep tissue sonograms in as little as 10 to 15 minutes.

In an effort to have as many women as possible sign up for a screening, no prescription is needed to make an appointment, and all insurances are accepted.
