NEW YORK (PIX11) -- While some may be celebrating the arrival of autumn, students across New York City are enjoying a shorter school week.
New York City Public Schools will be closed on Tuesday and Wednesday in observance of Rosh Hashanah.
There will also be evening parent-teacher conferences for high schools, K-12, and 6-12 schools on Thursday.
The next school holiday will be on Oct. 2 in observance of Yom Kippur. Click here to see the full school calendar.
Additionally, Alternate Side Parking will be suspended in observance of Rosh Hashanah.
