COLUMBUS, Ga. (WTVM) - With heavy hearts, Kendrick High School is mourning the loss of longtime teacher, colleague, mentor and friend Harrold E. Hines.

Hines taught mathematics at Kendrick for 24 years, beginning in 2001. Over the years, Hines earned recognition as Kendrick’s Teacher of the Year and a Sara Spano Teacher Award honoree. He also served as chair of the mathematics department, sponsor of the National Honor Society and math team, and a member of the senior committee.

“Mr. Hines touched countless lives with his wisdom and unwavering dedication to his students,” the school shared. “His influence extended far beyond the classroom, leaving an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing him.”
