DALLAS — The 2025 State Fair Classic is celebrating 100 years of the iconic matchup.

Monday marks the start of game week with a press conference at the Cotton Bowl.

“Here at Grambling, we expect to win,” Grambling State head football coach Mickey Joseph opened with.

Tremaine Jackson, Prairie View A&M head football coach, replied, “41 miles outside of Houston on the hill is the institution that's ready to play a good brand of football.” Later adding, “No more do we sit around and talk about what your uncle's Prairie View A&M football team looked like.”
