HOUSTON (KIAH) — Two Houston-area teams have moved into the top five in Class 6A, with two more area teams moving into the top 10, according to the latest Texas high school football polls.

While on a bye week, Summer Creek has moved two spots to No. 3 in the 6A poll, followed by Ridge Point, who is No. 4 after a dominant 56-10 over Fort Bend ISD rival Elkins.

Dickinson and Pearland have also made moves into the top 10. The Gators beat Clear Creek to move to No. 6, while the Oilers are now No. 7 after a big win over Alvin.

Southlake Carroll remains at the top spot in 6A, followed by Allen. Lake Travis sits at No. 5, with Prosper moving to No. 8, followed by Waxahachie, and Austin Westlake.
