The Detroit Lions have placed defensive end Marcus Davenport on injured reserve, sidelining him for at least the next four games.

Davenport, slow to get up after a sack of quarterback Caleb Williams, was injured in Detroit's win over the Chicago Bears last weekend. The team initially listed Davenport with a shoulder injury, but it was later updated to a chest injury during the week.

On Saturday, head coach Dan Campbell said he didn't have a concrete timeline for Davenport, but he knew the veteran would be unavailable for Monday night's matchup with the Baltimore Ravens at M&T Bank Stadium. Campbell also added he didn't think Davenport's injury would knock him out for the rest of 2025.
