BINGHAMTON, N.Y. (WIVT/WBGH) - The Binghamton University Forum continued its Speaker Series last week with a conversation about the development of the Ross Park Zoo.
The BU Forum is a group of local business owners and community leaders that come together throughout the year. The latest keynote speaker was Anne B. Clark, a retired BU Professor.
Clark, who has worked closely with the Ross Park Zoo throughout her entire career, discussed the evolution of conservation and the care of the animals at the zoo. She also highlighted the current goals of the Ross Park Zoo as well as its achievements since opening 150 years ago.
Clark says zoos, unlike museums, have a human element that represents the world.
