The Winston-Salem police department has issued a release asking for the public’s assistance in locating John Morrissey Bayer.

According to the release, Bayer is a 54-year-old white male who is approximately 5 foot 11, 240 pounds, with grey hair and blue eyes.

Police say his last-known clothing description is a grey t-shirt, brown cargo shorts and brown shoes.

Police also say Bayer was last seen leaving the area of Lynn Dee Drive operating a silver Buick Enclave (KJD-7152).
