CHARLESTON COUNTY, S.C. (WCBD) -- A North Charleston man will spend the rest of his life in prison after he was hired to track and kill a man in 2020.

Quinton Anthony Taylor was found guilty of murder and possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime after a week-long trial in Charleston County.

Taylor was previously convicted of burglary, unlawful carrying of a pistol, disturbing schools, unlawful use of a telephone, breaking and entering a motor vehicle, possession of cocaine base, possession of marijuana, possession of a stolen vehicle, and possession of a weapon.

He was sentenced to life in prison by the Honorable S. Bryan Doby, according to the Ninth Circuit Solicitor's Office.
