LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. (WYMT) - One person is dead following a crash in Laurel County.

Deputies said the crash happened at approximately 11:32 a.m. Monday on KY-552.

Police said Jerry Honeycutt, 29, of London, lost control of his motorcycle in a curve. The motorcycle then went into the path of a Chevy Silverado that had been pulling a trailer, resulting in a collision.

Honeycutt was pronounced dead at the scene by Laurel County Coroner Doug Bowling.

Two people were inside of the Chevy Silverado at the time of the crash but neither person was injured.
