A weather change is on the way to North Texas in the form of a cold front. Ahead of the front, Tuesday will still be hot and muggy with highs in the mid-90s and a heat index around 100.
The cold front will bring thunderstorms to our area, beginning Tuesday night and lasting until Wednesday morning. A few storms early on may be severe with strong winds and hail. The rain will move out of North Texas by Wednesday afternoon.
The cold front will also bring a nice cool down. Wednesday’s highs will be in the low 80s, with mid-80s temperatures on Thursday and Friday. We’ll also notice a drop in humidity.
Dry and seasonably warm weather is expected this weekend into next week.
