Car seen leaving the scene, found burning soon after
The police are investigating a case they say involved organized crime, in which a man was shot along Macleod Trail on Sunday.
A stolen vehicle was found to be on fire in a different part of town on the same day.

The investigation began when Calgary police received reports of a shooting in the 5500 block of Macleod Trail S.W. When the officers arrived, the found a man in his 20s suffering from gunshot wounds. He was taken to the hospital in critical condition, but is now stable.
The suspect fled the scene in a black Hyundai Kona before the police arrived. Fifteen minutes after locating the victim, the officers found the car, bearing a stolen licence plate, burning in the 1600 block of 17 Street S.E. The fire was ex
