YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) -- Youngstown State University got a visit Monday from some 3D printing experts.

The Stratasys Truck Tour Experience made a stop at YSU to showcase how 3D printing is used across industries, and students got the chance to see some examples up close and in person.

"A lot of people hear about it, and they think of something that they've seen on TV and it prints cute things. But no, we're printing things to support manufacturing. We're printing things to support medicine and product design and development," said Jesse Roitenberg, Stratasys's director of education

From hyperrealistic foods to designs of human anatomy, the truck tour experience gives a small window into the extensive world of 3D printing. YSU students go to learn about additive manufacturing.
