LUBBOCK, Texas -- A group of Lubbock youths got the opportunity of a lifetime, as they were able to perform at a national worship music concert.

The group, dubbed Young Saints, was formed this year to compete in the Assemblies of God National Fine Arts Competition. The band's members consist of two pairs of siblings, ranging from eighth-grade to freshman in college, who all attend Emmanuel Worship Center in Lubbock. They explained that their youth pastor encouraged them to enter the event, which led to Young Saints' creation. The group not only entered the contest, but they advanced from the district level to the national competition in Orlando, Florida.
