Young boy critically hurt after being pulled from community pool in Queen Creek

PHOENIX (AZFamily) — A young child is fighting for his life after being pulled from a community pool in Queen Creek Sunday evening.

Fire and police crews responded to the pool near Ellsworth Loop and Queen Creek roads for reports of a drowning.

A 7-year-old boy was found with life-threatening injuries. He was flown to a nearby hospital.

It is unclear how long the boy was in the water for or the cirumstances leading up to the drowning.
