For Adrian Martinez, an employee at the Libbey Glass factory and distribution center in Toledo, the past month has been crazy.

“Everyone is out here fighting and struggling, trying to get back so we can get back to the table,” said Mr. Martinez, the recording secretary for the United Steelworkers Local 59M.

On Aug. 22, employees at Libbey Glass factory and distribution center in Toledo walked out to protest unfair labor practices amid ongoing contraction negotiations, but one month later, they are still on strike.

“There’s been communication since we’ve been on strike, and the company had finally agreed to meet probably a week ago now, but there’s been no movement since then,” said Teresa Cassady, the assistant to the director for USW District 1.
