Minneapolis-based Allina Health is rolling out an AI-powered supply capture system from AssistIQ across more than 100 operating and procedural rooms in its network.  The technology is designed to automatically document medical supplies and implants used during procedures aiming to improve charge capture, reduce administrative workload and strengthen inventory accuracy, according to a Sept. 22 news release shared with Becker’s. 

AssistIQ’s system integrates with Allina Health’s existing Epic and Workday platforms, embedding real-time data directly into administrative and clinical workflows.  Early implementation has shown increased billing accuracy and fewer inventory issues while reducing the manual documentation burden on clinical teams, the release said.  The post Allina Health partners
