AUBURN — Auburn football received some fortunate news in way of injury updates from coach Hugh Freeze on Monday, Sept. 23 after a physical game against Oklahoma. Center Connor Lew had to come out of Sept. 20's game against Oklahoma after suffering what Freeze said is a sprained MCL. Fortunately, Lew reentered the game and is on track to give things a go against Texas A&M.
Defensive end Amaris Williams who missed Oklahoma's game with a shoulder injury suffered against South Alabama is "much better" according to Freeze and could have a chance to suit up against Texas A&M. Auburn running back Jeremiah Cobb suffered a hip pointer in the Oklahoma matchup, but Freeze said he will be fine.
