Blake Grupe was arguably the Saints’ most impressive player before the season began.
The Saints' third-year kicker missed just one field goal throughout the training camp and preseason.
But three games into the season, he’s just made just four of his seven field goal attempts.
He’s had a miss in all three games, including a 52-yarder in Sunday’s 44-13 road loss to the Seattle Seahawks.
“Obviously it sucks,” Grupe said about his slow start. “I’ve had some ups and downs in my career, but I don’t feel like I have been as frustrated as I am with where I am right now. That's just due to how well I know I am hitting the ball and how that showed throughout OTAs and camp and the preseason. It hasn’t carried over these last three games.”
