CINCINNATI (WXIX) - On the ninth offensive snap of his NFL career, rookie right guard Jalen Rivers dropped back in pass protection on 2nd and 10. He was facing a Vikings’ defense that’s known for its blitzes and disguises, and the defense threw one right at the Bengals’ fifth-round pick.
The play went poorly for Rivers, who allowed a pressure and ended up with his back turned to the line of scrimmage. Then, with pressure in Jake Browning’s face, the Bengals’ quarterback threw his second pick of the game.
