LAS VEGAS ( FOX5 ) — Motorists could expect complete and partial closures on the 215 beltway in west Las Vegas this week.

Clark County officials sent a media release about overnight closures and lane restrictions on the 215 beltway for the Summerlin Parkway Interchange Project. Closures are expected to start Thursday. Officials say crews are performing bridge work, and it would be unsafe to complete with live traffic.

According to Clark County, a full closure of the 215 beltway northbound is expected to start at 8 p.m. Thursday and reopen at 5 a.m. the next morning. It will be closed between Far Hills Avenue and Summerlin Parkway.

Northbound traffic is expected to detour to the Summerlin Parkway off-ramp and then back onto the 215 mainline north of the Summerlin Parkway interchange.
