ROCK HILL, S.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) -- York County deputies are searching for a man accused of assault and battery in Rock Hill.

Police are in the area of Knotty Branch Road, off of Walker Road and Old Friendship Road.

Deputies say they are looking for a white male with no shirt, wearing blue jeans. He is 45 years old with blue eyes and light brown hair. Officials have not released his name.

Officials say he's wanted for 3rd degree assault and battery and is possibly armed. They did not give details on why he's wanted and what led up to the police search.
