Over the weekend, officials revealed hundreds of delays and cancellations at DFW and Love Field were the result of cut fiber optic cable lines in Denton County.
The Federal Aviation Administration blamed Dallas-based Frontier Communications for “multiple failures” disrupting radar operations at the Dallas TRACON facility.
Located in the middle of DFW Airport, TRACON handles flights coming in and out of the regional airspace before they’re handed off to individual airport towers.
