A swastika was found drawn outside a Beverly Hills elementary school on Monday, according to a local school district.
The incident took place outside El Rodeo Elementary School, according to Beverly Hills Unified School District (BHUSD). It added that the drawing comes “at a particularly sensitive time for Jewish families as Rosh Hashanah begins this evening.”

“Antisemitism is not abstract; it is real, and it continues to show up in ways that are meant to intimidate,” the school district said in a statement. “We want to be clear: hate of any kind is not acceptable.”
The vandalism was removed immediately and reported to police, BHUSD said.
