(NewsNation) — Cyberbullying continues to grab headlines, and A&E's newest special dives deep into the complex and disturbing nature behind it.

"Bully Hunter," which premieres Sept. 23, features Dr. James McGibney using "his unique methods to unmask bullies, confront predators and help victims reclaim their lives."

"Cyberstalkers embarrass and shame people," McGibney says in the show's trailer. "My job is to track down the worst bullies from the internet's darkest corners."

Who is Dr. James McGibney?

Dr. James McGibney is an investigator, CEO and founder of the anti-bullying website, Bullyville.com.

By creating Bullyville.com, McGibney helped shut down several of the largest existing revenge pornography websites. McGibney acknowledged he was bullied as a child by his father.
