Australia has joined dozens of countries in lashing Russia after three of Moscow’s warplanes ventured into Estonian airspace last week.
The three Russian nuclear-capable MiG-31s violated Estonia’s airspace for 12 minutes before being forced out by Swedish fighter jets, according to European officials.
A week earlier, Poland shot down multiple Russian drones after they entered Polish airspace, forcing the closure of airports.
Both Estonia and Poland are NATO members.
