LUZERNE COUNTY, Pa. — A hazmat incident is closing a roadway in a part of Luzerne County.
Hazle Township Fire Chief Scott Kostician says a tractor-trailer rollover caused a hazmat incident on Route 924 in Hazle Township on Monday around 7 p.m.
According to Valley Regional Fire and Rescue, the hazmat incident was caused by a diesel spill with a cargo of batteries.
The closure in place is from Maplewood Drive to Commerce Drive until noon on Tuesday.
