PORTLAND Ore. (KPTV) - A man who was shot and killed near a bar last week has been identified.

According to the Portland Police Bureau, 45-year-old Garvin Franklin Jr. was killed in the shooting early last Thursday.

Officers were called to the scene of the shooting in a bar parking lot in the 8200 block of Southeast Harrison Street shortly after 2 a.m.

Upon arrival, they found Franklin, along with another shooting victim who was taken to a hospital and is expected to recover.

37-year-old Brandon Lewis was arrested at the scene by police. He faces charges of second-degree murder, second-degree assault and unlawful use of a weapon.
