MADISON, Wis. -- Monday is the one-year anniversary of Bus Rapid Transit--Madison's Metro system defined by the red lanes, quick stops and electric buses. But it's also been known for its fair share of route issues, driver concerns and logistical errors.

In light of the one-year checkpoint, we set out to ask if the system advertised to efficiently get riders across the city is working.

"We are still just kind of fine-tuning and tweaking the existing equipment and systems that we brought on," said Madison Metro Chief Development Officer Mick Rusch.

Rusch said last year's nearly $200 million overhaul of Madison Metro was unprecedented.
