BOSTON —
Jimmy Kimmel Live! will return to the air Tuesday after ABC suspended the show for nearly a week after Kimmel made comments surrounding the death of Charlie Kirk.
ABC's parent company, Disney, called Kimmel's comments ill-timed and insensitive.
Opponents to Kimmel's suspension said it appeared that the company made the decision based on threats coming from the FCC.
First Amendment Lawyer Gregory Sullivan says the fallout could have far-reaching impacts.
