WILLIAMSBURG, Ky. (WYMT) - A Wisconsin man is dead after a motorcycle crash on Interstate 75 in Whitley County.

It happened at approximately 9:59 Monday morning near the 13 mile marker, just north of Williamsburg.

State Police say Scott Szczesny, 48, of Trevor, Wisconsin was going northbound when for unknown reasons, he went off the right shoulder and into a wooded area.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police say Szczesny was wearing a helmet and speed is believed to be a contributing factor.
