(KRON) -- Prosecutors charged a Walnut Creek man with murdering his wife, Linlin Guo, and his mother-in-law, Beimin Cheng, the Contra Costa County District Attorney's Office announced Monday.

Guo's husband, 43-year-old Howard Wang, will be arraigned in court Tuesday afternoon.

Prosecutors said the couple and Cheng were at home inside their Kelobra Court residence when Wang killed both women on September 18.

Wang and two young children were still inside the house when police officers arrived and found the bodies, police said. Walnut Creek police said the victims were shot to death.
