Golf commentator Brandel Chamblee didn’t just have a hot take on Monday; it was a scorcher as he took aim at Bryson DeChambeau on Golf Channel’s “Live From” ahead of the Ryder Cup this week on Long Island.

Chamblee equated the two-time U.S. Open champion to a “circus-barker” and labeled him a “captain’s nightmare” during an on-air diatribe with the pristine Bethpage Black course in the background.

The conversation started after Golf Channel’s Todd Lewis spoke with DeChambeau and had him react to comments from Rory McIlroy , who said during an interview with The Guardian that the only way that the American golfer can get attention was by “mentioning other people.”
