Talk about bold. A college student from Michigan performed a Niall Horan song in front of Horan on the season 28 premiere of “ The Voice .”

Jack Austin, 21, is a Battle Creek native. He is currently a musical theater student at Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo.

Austin performed, “This Town” for his Blind Audition on the NBC singing competition airing on Monday, September 22.

Michael Bublé was the first coach to turn his chair for Austin, followed by Horan and then Reba McEntire. Snoop Dogg is the only coach who did not to turn a chair for him.
