The B.C. Conservative Caucus has kicked out Surrey—Cloverdale MLA Elenore Sturko.

"To be honest, I'm pretty shaken up about it, still very upsetting, obviously," Sturko told reporters on Monday evening after hearing the news.

Sturko spoke to reporters just before a scheduled caucus meeting, arranged to discuss John Rustad's leadership.

Rustad had just survived a leadership review on Monday, gaining 70.66 per cent of party members' votes.

Sturko said she was accused by Rustad of organizing people against him.
