PITTSBURGH —

A man placed on the Pennsylvania State Police Top 10 Most Wanted Fugitives list was taken into custody in Pittsburgh's North Side on Monday in connection with a fatal 2023 shooting in Delaware County.

According to a release from officials, Daryl Beckett, 36, was taken into custody at a residence within the 1600 block of Brighton Place, where Marshals Service investigators said he was hiding. Advertisement

Beckett was added to the Pennsylvania State Police Top 10 Most Wanted Fugitives list after over 40 shots were fired from a moving vehicle on I-95 in Upper Chichester on Oct. 7, 2023.

Beckett had also been wanted since Dec. 2024, when a homicide warrant was filed against him.

As a result of the incident, the driver was killed and a passenger was injured.
