Already deemed the favorite to lift the title prior to the start of the 2025 Korea Open, Iga Swiatek left little doubt as she swept her way to claim her first WTA title since her victory at this year's Cincinnati Open.

The Polish star has been in great form since winning her maiden Wimbledon title earlier this summer. Swiatek recorded an astounding 6-0 6-0 route over American Amanda Anisimova in the SW19 final to win her sixth overall Grand Slam title.

Swiatek would carry the momentum into the North American hardcourt season. After a surprise round of 16 loss to Danish player Clara Tauson at the Canada Open, Swiatek would return with a renewed vigor at the next WTA 1000 event in Cincinnati.
